Celebrating the 2026 Tribute Honorees
Every year, YWCA North Central Indiana’s Tribute Dinner & Live Auction gives us an opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations making a meaningful difference in our community.
These are people who lead with purpose, invest in others, and understand that stronger communities are built when we show up for one another.
On October 8, 2026, we will gather at The Armory in South Bend for Tribute 2026, where we will honor three outstanding community leaders and supporters:
1st Source Bank — YWCA Community Champion
1st Source Bank is this year’s YWCA Community Champion, recognizing the bank’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves and its investment in the work of organizations like YWCA North Central Indiana.
Community partnerships are essential to our ability to provide critical services to women, children, and families. When local businesses choose to invest in our mission, they help make it possible for YWCA NCIN to continue being there when people need us most.
We are grateful for 1st Source Bank’s partnership and proud to recognize the bank as our 2026 YWCA Community Champion.
Amanda Miller Kelley — YWCA Woman of the Year
Amanda Miller Kelley, President & CEO of PBS Michiana, is the recipient of the 2026 YWCA Woman of the Year award.
Through her leadership at PBS Michiana, Amanda has demonstrated the power of using a platform to inform, connect, and strengthen our community. Her work reflects the kind of leadership we celebrate through Tribute — leadership that recognizes the importance of bringing people together and making sure local voices and stories have a place to be heard.
We are honored to recognize Amanda for her leadership, her commitment to our community, and the example she sets for women in leadership.
Dr. Jessica Carney — YWCA Volunteer of the Year
Dr. Jessica Carney is our 2026 YWCA Volunteer of the Year.
Volunteers are at the heart of so much of what we do. They give their time, their talents, and their energy because they believe in the people we serve and in the mission of YWCA North Central Indiana.
Dr. Carney represents the impact one person can make simply by choosing to show up and give back. We are grateful for her commitment to YWCA NCIN and honored to celebrate her as our 2026 Volunteer of the Year.
Celebrating the People Behind the Mission
Tribute is about much more than an evening of awards.
It is a celebration of the community that makes our work possible.
Every day, YWCA North Central Indiana provides 24/7 crisis services, emergency shelter, counseling, advocacy, and other support for women, children, and families across our community. That work takes dedicated staff, volunteers, donors, businesses, and community partners who believe that everyone deserves safety, support, and the opportunity to build a better future.
Our honorees represent three important parts of that community: partnership, leadership, and service.
1st Source Bank demonstrates what it means for a local business to invest in the well-being of its community. Amanda Miller Kelley demonstrates the impact of strong women in leadership. Dr. Jessica Carney demonstrates the difference a committed volunteer can make.
Together, they remind us that meaningful change does not happen because of one person or one organization. It happens when a community comes together.
