The YWCA is proud to be the oldest and largest women’s movement, providing services for women and their families in our community.

Our local programs and services have furthered the YWCA vision of peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people since 1903. Over the past 121 years, programs have evolved and included emergency shelter for victims of abuse, economic empowerment education, self sufficiency programming, dating violence and bullying prevention outreach in local schools, sexual assault survivor services, a gender specific substance use program and much more.

In addition to crisis, equity, and empowerment services, the YWCA is a powerful voice for women and children at the local, state, and national levels, advocating for policies that ensure all people are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect and have the opportunity to live their best lives.
