Tania’s Story:

thoughtful woman

“I am writing this letter to let you know how much I appreciate the kindness and help that I have received from the YWCA. When I came to the YWCA I was a broken woman. I needed a safe place to heal and grow. I am so much better now.”

I am enrolled in college and looking forward to a wonderful future. I have learned so much about myself and have regained the confidence to walk with my head up, to look people in the eye, and to feel that I am a normal person. Aleta has been a life saving presence in my recovery from the sexual violence that almost destroyed me. I am so grateful.”
