Nexus RV of Elkhart has “adopted” our Safe Haven Shelter in Elkhart County. This new partnership will benefit women and children staying at the Safe Haven Domestic Violence Shelter in Elkhart.
On Friday, May 20th 2022 this project began and we are thankful for the partnership this will grow into. Over 80 Nexus RV employees have donated their time to help transform the interior and exterior of the shelter in downtown Elkhart. “We’ll be ripping out old carpet, painting every room in the building, moving in new furniture, and landscaping” said Claude Donati. “Friday, will be just the beginning, We believe in the work the YWCA is doing at the Safe Haven Shelter, and we are making a long-term commitment to wrap our collective arms around women and children who need our help.”
