Join the YWCA North Central Indiana as we recognize local police officers that have gone above and beyond with assisting women in domestic violence situations and their efforts to prevent domestic violence homicides. This ceremony will take place outside at 1102 S. Fellows St. South Bend, IN 46601.

Thursday, October 8th, 6:00pm

LUNAFEST® is not just a traveling film festival, it’s a force for change. Join us in supporting women filmmakers and women’s causes. Join us for a Virtual Screening of LUNAFEST, films by and about women, featuring seven short films with a total running time of 97 minutes. LUNAFEST Tickets can be purchased here.

All funds raised during this auction help women and their children find safety at the YWCA, a place of healing and freedom.

Basney Honda: Thank you Basney Honda for supporting our efforts to end domestic violence. For a small donation you can purchase a car ribbon and those proceeds will benefit our shelters.

Centier Bank: Centier Bank locations will be displaying helpful material regarding domestic violence awareness through the month of October. Thank you for helping us spread awareness and supporting those who need assistance!

IU South Bend: Shout out to the students and staff at IU South Bend who will be highlighting Domestic Violence Awareness Month on their social media and around campus.

Mossberg& Company: Thank you Mossberg! They will be hosting a small trick or treating event for the children who reside at our shelter so they can have a fun Halloween evening!

O’Keefe Cleaners: For a few years now O’Keefe Cleaners has hosted a month long donation drive for the women and children who call our shelter their home. Each October they collect items for our residents. Thank you for making sure our residents have bedding, clothing and other essentials.

Valley Screen Process: Valley Screen has been a wonderful supporter for many years. Again this year, Karen and her team are providing the YWCA with car magnets. These can be purchased for a small donation supporting the YWCA and our efforts to end domestic violence. This is also a great way to show your support!
