Save the Date For An Evening of Celebration, Gratitude, and Hope

On May 7th, 2026, YWCA North Central Indiana will host an unforgettable evening dedicated to celebrating leadership, partnership, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting women and children in our community. This annual event is more than an event - it’s a powerful reflection of what can be accomplished when individuals and organizations come together to create safety, stability, and hope. Join us for the 2026 SOS Dinner & Auction!

This year, we are proud to recognize two exceptional honorees whose community impact continues to strengthen families across Elkhart County and beyond:

Jacqueline Barton2026 Champion for Women & Children
RV Women’s Alliance2026 Community Partner of the Year

These honorees exemplify courage, compassion, and steadfast advocacy. Through leadership and collaboration, they have helped advance meaningful change, ensuring that women and children facing crisis have access to resources, protection, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Their dedication reflects the very heart of YWCA’s mission - providing a Safe Haven and comprehensive support for those seeking freedom from violence and instability.

This year’s celebration will be an evening of reflection and inspiration. It will honor the resilience of survivors, acknowledge the generosity of partners and supporters, and reaffirm a collective commitment to building a community where every survivor can live free from fear. Together, attendees will celebrate progress made and renew the promise to continue this vital work.

Celebrations like this play a vital role in advancing the mission of Safe Haven Shelter. The support generated through this event directly strengthens the program and resources that survivors and their families rely on in Elkhart County - from safe shelter and crisis intervention to advocacy, prevention education, and pathways toward long-term stability. It is through the steadfast commitment of community partners, donors, and advocates that our organization continues to provide safety, restore dignity, and offer hope to those navigating some of life’s most difficult moments.
