Women's Journey Chemical Dependency

YWCA Women’s Journey program offers a complete continuum of gender-specific, CARF accredited, and State licensed residential and nonresidential chemical dependency treatment services for women, including: 

  • detoxification services (by arrangement with local provider)
  • individual and group chemical dependency counseling 
  • residential treatment for up to 60 days (individually determined)
  • transitional housing (for up to two years)
  • residential and non-residential services for children of women in treatment
  • case management
  • childcare during programming
  • aftercare support groups

There is, at times, a wait list to get into this program. Preference for treatment for women is given in this priority order:

   1. pregnant and an IV user
   2. pregnant
   3. IV user
   4. has physical custody of children and will retain custody while in treatment
   5. has children but does not have custody
   6. Dept of Children Services has custody but is working toward reunification
   7. women without children
* If a pregnant woman does not receive priority admission to treatment and/or interim services within 48 hours she may call the Consumer Service Line at 1-800-901-1133
