The YWCA is excited to recognize three Women of the Year for 2016: Sheryl Eakins, Paqui Kelly, and Vivian Sallie. Each of these honorees have worked hard to improve the lives of women and children in the Michiana community.
Sheryl Eakins is passionate about helping women improve their lives and as a YWCA board member, she played a vital role in helping the YW navigate a merger & save the Elkhart domestic violence shelter from shutting down. Click here to watch a video featuring her story.
Paqui Kelly used her personal fight against breast cancer (2 times!) to touch the lives of thousands of women who have found themselves faced with the same challenge. Check out a video featuring the "game plan" Paqui & her husband Brian used to beat cancer and give back.
Vivian Sallie has dedicate much of her life to helping others achieve their goals, especially those who are minorities. Learn more about what she does & how she's serving Michiana in this video.
